Patapum

Childhood memories also bring to our mind idioms, a “correct” speech when used with children.
An accidental fall was considered a “patapum”. An unexpected blast was a “patapum”. A sudden blow was a “patapum”.

Then I realise I’m a grown up and one day I taste a Traditonal Method wine whose base was obtained with the maceration of the skins: it was a blow, a shock, a discovery for me, a real “patapum”!

So Patapum came into life, a less demanding version of a champenois, a pleasant re-fermented wine affordable by everyone, especially for those who can feel a “patapum” after the first sip!
