A comfortable cellar door nestled over a breathtaking vineyard landscape, the perfect place to relax your soul, letting everything go with a glass of joy in your hand.
Volcanalia design goes beyond appearance. An elegant example of the Volcanic Soul of this magic place. The building is covered with a particular wood called Yakisugi, which gets burnt to preserve it from the erosion. The result gives a unique look which resembles the black basaltic soil where Volcanalia vineyards sink their roots. In the environmental context, this technique represents a tangible bond with the geological history of the place. This visual representation of the volcanic past, embodies the essence of the winery, which goes beyond the mere concept of a winemaking facility, becoming a place for a multi-sensory experience. Our philosophy embraces sustainability and durability in every aspect. The choice and use of raw materials is an example of respect and preservation towards the environment. Every step, from the vineyard to the glass is based on conscious responsibility over the ecosystem.
